Wilmington ExecuNet Meeting – October 2017

Why Outplacement is the Right Decision
October 10, 2017
Bobbie Foedisch to be a Featured Speaker at the Garden State Council SHRM Conference
October 12, 2017

This month’s Greater Wilmington, DE ExecuNet forum, facilitated by CCI Consulting, will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2017. The ExecuNet forum gives executives the opportunity to expand and continue to build on their network.

The first half of the meeting will be dedicated to networking. It is important that participants come to the session with a Networking Profile (and have 35+ copies). This part of the meeting offers critical practice of the 60-second pitch, obtaining leads for targeted firms, sharing learnings, listening to successes, building instant relationships with people and providing assistance to others.

The second half of our meeting will be on the Topic: Executive Presence Aligned to your Personal Brand.

This month’s guest speaker is Therese Williams, President and Founder of Pinnacle Group Business Resources. Being fully present in every interaction and consistently demonstrating alignment to strategy, increases the trust and confidence others have in you. Refining one’s skill of Executive Presence extends your influence with individuals who are central to your success. As executives, we must be able to identify the unique abilities we contribute to the workplace and personally advocate for ourselves to leave a lasting impression on those we seek to influence. The skills we hold, the values we have, and our knowledge of self, contribute to our Personal Brand. When an individual exudes the confidence of Executive Presence and aligns it with their Personal Brand, they maximize their contribution not only to their future organization but also to their executive job search efforts.
