Wilmington ExecuNet Meeting – August 2017

Let’s Talk About Career Management…
August 8, 2017
Michael Cuff to Speak at My Career Transitions
August 31, 2017

This month’s Greater Wilmington, DE ExecuNet forum, facilitated by guest speaker CCI Consulting’s Brian Clapp, Chief Operating Officer, will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2017. The ExecuNet forum gives executives the opportunity to expand and continue to build on their network.

The first half of the meeting will be dedicated to networking. It is important that participants come to the session with a Networking Profile (and have 35+ copies). This part of the meeting offers critical practice of the 60-second pitch, obtaining leads for targeted firms, sharing learnings, listening to successes, building instant relationships with people and providing assistance to others.

The second half of the meeting will be on the Topic: Defining and Leveraging Your Personal Brand.

Brian Clapp will be presenting this week’s topic. Brian has over 20 years of consulting, client account management and operations management experience with international as well as niche boutique professional services firms.

In today’s competitive job market, strong technical skills and functional capabilities no longer guarantee career success. Whether you are a recent college graduate, mid-career, returning to the workforce, or in career transition, one of the biggest yet most neglected component of career management and career success is the concept of personal brand. Your brand identity is not a job title or a functional role. It has much more to do with how you present yourself and the impressions you create. This informative and interactive session is designed to help participants learn how to increase career success by being more aware of defining and projecting a powerful and authentic personal brand.

Meeting Agenda:
7:20AM: Doors Open
7:30AM: Light Breakfast and Casual Networking
7:45 AM – 9:15 AM: Networking
9:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Guest Speaker: Brian Clapp

Requirements for attending: 15+ years of experience with a minimum base salary of $100K. Smart business attire requested.
