As a Senior Career Transition Consultant with a proven track record in people engagement and development, Jim brings a holistic, comprehensive, and strategic approach to individuals. He coaches them to land positions that meet their short- and long-range goals and interests, allowing them to utilize their knowledge, skills, abilities, and capabilities.
Jim has extensive experience in developing and implementing effective succession planning systems in a wide range of areas such as business-to-business publications, aerospace/aircraft data communications systems, defense electronics, commercial business forms printing, military/commercial aircraft arrestment systems, healthcare, and education. Jim provides a practical approach focused on key criteria to enable a solid fit for his participants.
Prior to becoming a full-time consultant and adjunct professor in leadership, organizational behavior, strategic management, and other human resources areas—instructing in classroom, online, and hybrid formats—Jim developed an extensive and diverse career in HR, the last 20 years of which directly engaged at the C-Level suite. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Villanova University, a Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification through the Human Resources Certification Institute, a Senior Certified Professional (SCP) certification through The Society for Human Resource Management, and is Assessment Certified through the Center for Creative Leadership. Jim attained an MBA, having completed the program requirements with a 4.0 GPA, in October 2014.
Jim has been an invited speaker at SHRM and other HR venues in the greater Philadelphia area and continues to actively mentor executives and HR professionals at all levels in their career development and career transition endeavors.
His overall efforts and dedication to the Human Resources profession enabled him to be selected as the 2011 HR Person of the Year for Mid-Sized Companies by the Southeastern PA/NJ/DEL Tri-State area SHRM chapters.
