Creating a guide to internal career management
CCI’s CareerGPS™ program prepares employees for a period of organizational transition by empowering them to take responsibility for their performance and career path.
After acknowledging workplace trends and articulating personal passions and talents, program participants explore their internal motivations, map out personal goals, and consider new career opportunities. We also challenge them to consider their commitment to and fit within the organization.
Through this engagement process, employees have a safe environment in which to thoughtfully:
- Self-examine their current skills and capabilities
- Evaluate appropriate options
- Create action plans for their future contributions
- Identify and/or revive their passion and commitment to the organization in a manner that supports getting the “right” person in the “right” position or circumstances for mutual success
